Why can’t god just forgive sin without somebody having to die?
Sin is so corrupting, it’s not enough for God to overlook sin, he has to eliminate it.
The cross was God’s ultimate act of self-sacrifice and love: the anti-sin
The resurrection was God’s power over the effects of sin - Jesus gave us freedom from the curse.
Justifying grace - the grace that God gives us to see us as a part of his corruption-free future
Christians are God’s-future-justified people
